I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist working and living in Lancing, West Sussex. I work remotely offering 1-2-1 appointments. I also have face-to-face private and community group options within the local area. I am fully inclusive and work with anyone whom would like to make a positive change in their lives.
Why hypnotherapy?
I decided to train as a hypnotherapist after experiencing the benefits of hypnotherapy after losing my mum many years ago. That experience stayed with me, and I felt inspired to help others overcome the blocks that hold them back from living more freely and fully.
Over the years, I’ve explored many different therapies and met practitioners from around the world. What the most effective approaches had in common was this: they empowered people to make their own changes. That’s exactly what hypnotherapy means to me; helping you access tools and inner resources that you can carry with you and draw on whenever you need them.
Clinical Hypnotherapy offers a different approach. It doesn't necessarily focus on the past but provides clients with tools to progress from their issues through learning, creating new pathways, and gaining a greater understanding of themselves.
This approach can foster a supportive environment for personal growth and swiftly facilitate transformative change. Additionally, hypnotherapy can be used alongside other therapies and medications, provided these are disclosed during the initial consultation as they may require a doctor's approval.

Why Hypnotherapy For Perimenopause and Menopause?
During perimenopause the hormonal changes can amplify stress responses, disrupt sleep, magnify irritability, and erode confidence. Hypnotherapy offers:
Calming the nervous system – Inductions, breath work, and guided imagery reduce cortisol and improve sleep.
Reframing unhelpful patterns – Gentle NLP-style language and metaphors help shift the way you interpret mood swings, cravings or hot flushes.
Supporting healthy habits – In trance, suggestions for self-care, nutrition, or exercise can take root more easily.
Emotional processing – Using eye-movement, tapping or bilateral techniques (similar to EMDR/EFT), you can release emotional charges connected to stress or past experiences.
Reconnection to self – Eriksonian hypnotherapy’s indirect suggestions and metaphors help you rediscover inner strengths and develop a new, positive identity for the years ahead.
